Company History

1952 Sep. Founds Isozaki Shoten, a distributor of confectionary and food prizes to pachinko parlors.
1967 Feb. Opens GOLD ON Otsuka, the company's first pachinko parlor, in front of JR Otsuka Station.
1971 Aug. Founds Yunika Corporation in partnership with Kameya Shoten, another pachinko parlor operator.
1974 Sep. Opens GOLD ON Nagayama #1 in front of Nagayama Station on the Keio and Odakyu Lines.
1990 Mar. Opens Maghreb Building, a comprehensive leisure building, in front of Tama Center Station on the Keio and Odakyu Lines. Opens GOLD ON Tama Center B and Farmer's Market Chitoseya supermarket in this building.
1992 May. Opens Chofu GOLD ON, an amusement complex, at the North Exit of Chofu Station on the Keio Line.
Closes it in Jan. 2013 due to redevelopment in front of the station.
1995 Jun. Opens amusement complex Urban Misawa Building in front of Machida Station on the JR and Odakyu Lines.
1999 May Motohiko Isozaki appointed Yunika President & CEO.
2002 Apr. Opens GOLD ON Soshigaya in front of Soshigaya-okura Station on the Odakyu Line.
2003 Dec. Opens GOLD ON Shinagawa at Takanawa Exit of JR Shinagawa Station.
2004 Mar. Opens SALA Tama Center, a karaoke parlor, in Maghreb Building.
  Apr. Opens GOLD ON Nishiogikubo at South Exit of JR Nishiogikubo Station.
  Dec. Opens GOLD ON Tama Center A inside Tama Center Station on the Odakyu Line. Maghreb Parking Building completed in front of Tama Center Station on the Keio and Odakyu Lines.
2005 Oct. Opens Chitoseya Cafe at North Exit of Chofu Station on the Keio Line.
  Dec. Opens GOLD ON Nishikawaguchi pachinko parlor in front of Nishikawaguchi Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. Opens GOLD ON Nagayama #2 in front of Nagayama Station on the Keio and Odakyu Lines.
2006 Mar. Spins off cafe businesses from Yunika Corporation to establish Chitoseya Cafe Corporation.
  Oct. Opens Fitness & Spa Maghreb in Maghreb Building.
2010 Apr.

Began operations of the Yunika Building at JR Shinjuku Station East Exit Commenced transmissions from the Yunika Vision video screens at the same building

2013 Mar.

Acquired Tama Carillon Building from Odakyu Group and began operations as a commercial facility.

2015 Apr.

Changes building name to Maghreb EAST and begins operations.

2015 Jun.

Opens Maghreb Est as a fitness business for children and senior citizens in the Maghreb EAST building

2018 Jan.

Acquires JORNA MACHIDA, a commercial facility, in front of Machida Station and begins operations as a commercial facility

  Jul. Opens Maghreb WEST Building in front of Tama Center Station on the Keio and Odakyu Lines. Opens THE 3RD PLANET, a game arcade, in this building
